trying to make as much pure awesome as i can. working with proper animation concepts, and might fiddle with some style stuff too.
you'll notice some passing homages to animators i admire-inkthinker's man popping out of the random hole, quaro's sidelong flip, a gun effect i saw once (forget where) and really admired, and more to come.
(all done without ref, framed by hand, and with the intention of imporving on/modifying/making more 'ME' the work...please don't shoot me.)
i guess this is kind of a learning thing, i don't think it'll really ever 'finish'...i might stop working on it, but that prolly won't be for a while.

-added about another 100 frames, and slowed down the sidespin a little...still looks odd, but at least it looks like a sidespin now.

One suggestion I would have would be to put a few more frames with the fast actions or make your lines a little more bold, but still its good.
Overall this has a lot of energy, and it looks like good progress

like a bunch of people have said before the lighting effects you used during the gun scene were awesome! It really gave the whole animation more power

The sidelong flip isn't really well defined. too fast to see what's really happening but the high contrast thing is sure a lot of win and I like the axe at the end. Makes me laugh.
A lot of awesome moves to be ended with a simple ax throw
